Biography - Hilary Fraser

Since 2004 I've worked as a communication consultant, trainer and executive coach.  I offer a high-impact, high-value service to leaders developing their talent; I coach managers and executives; and I run training programmes for all levels.

  • I am a qualified executive coach, with a post-graduate diploma (EMCC Practitioner Level) in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching. I spent 15+ years in business development and client management for technology and information companies, including IBM and Bloomberg, in London and Europe. 

  • I gained deep insight into the communication and development challenges of management from my own career in commercial roles, through my experience helping major corporates and through continuing study.  My clients include investment and commercial banks, private equity, fund management, mining, industrial, technology and other international companies.

  • As a communication specialist, I build relationships that can provide both challenge and support. This means I can help clients get excellent results quickly, whether delivered through consulting, facilitation, coaching or training.

  • As an executive coach, my approach is humanistic and practical, based on an understanding of the uniqueness of the individual and the organisation's dynamics, complexity and culture. I use tools and methodologies combined with standard psychological approaches, including from NLP and Gestalt.

  • I qualified in Modern Languages from Oxford Brookes University (when it was still Oxford Polytechnic) and I am able to work in French, with conversational Italian.  My passion for use of language extended to another qualification in 2001, with the Diploma in Journalism from City University.  

  • I am an associate member of the Association for Coaching and a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. I am an Adair Accredited Trainer.

  • When I want to get away from work, study and communication, I love to go hiking in the mountains and commune with nature instead.  I'm a keen outdoors swimmer, even in London.
